How it works
Monthly take-home = net pay per check x paychecks per year / 12. Each bucket = monthly take-home x its share. Per-paycheck amounts use the same shares on one check. Biweekly pay gives 26 checks, 2 more than two a month, so 2 months a year have a third check; weekly pay gives 4 months with a fifth check. The 50/30/20 split is the default, from Elizabeth Warren's All Your Worth.

FAQ
Why not just double a biweekly check?
26 checks a year average 2.17 per month, so doubling understates monthly pay.
Does this calculate taxes?
No. Use the net pay from your pay stub.
Can I change the split?
Yes. Any percent left unassigned shows on the last line.
